Between the Semester Madness and Elvis Count Chula!

So the first semester of my senior year at PCA&D has ended. It was really short yet really long and I feel that a lot of good work was created. As well as more of a style being formed. The end of the semester means I have less than 30 days to complete my goal of at least 4 more shots for my thesis. I also have graduate school demo reel and portfolio to piece together and submit before the next semester starts. Grad school is a little scary but even Hasboro Studio wants animators to have a Graduate Degree, and formal animation studies will be really what I need. PCA&D has some amazing professors with awesome work, but I am going for illustration degree and I want more technical and artistic guidance from actual animators.

Well I think this'll be my last post of the year (or atleast til after Christmas) since I won't have internet where I am spending my Christmas holiday. To leave you off I'm going to show off a fun character sheet of Bubbah Chula. Which was a project from my humorous illustration class. My specific assignment was to redesign Count Chula. So I decide that he saw an Elvis impersonator in Vegas and wanted to also be like The King. Also a different take on the "shiny vampire".
